Jaquar Urinal With Fixing Accessories, URS-WHT-13261

Description

Jaquar Urinal (URS-WHT-13261H) is a compact wall-mounted white urinal measuring 355 x 340 x 535 mm, supplied with a spreader hole and fixing accessories.

The spreader hole is the feature in the code — the H suffix denotes it — and it is worth understanding because it determines how the urinal flushes. It is the inlet at the top of the bowl through which flush water enters. A spreader fits into it and distributes the water across the full width of the back wall rather than letting it run down as a single stream.

That even wetting is what actually cleans a urinal. A narrow stream rinses one channel down the middle and leaves the rest of the ceramic dry, which is precisely how urinals develop the staining and persistent odour that no amount of surface cleaning fixes — the deposits build up on the parts the water never reaches. Spreading the flush across the whole surface prevents that from starting.

At 355 x 340 x 535 mm this is a compact bowl, noticeably shorter than a full-height urinal. That suits washrooms where space is tight, where a run of bays has to fit a limited wall, or where a lower mounting height is wanted — for a school, for instance. It is a different proposition from a tall bowl, so it is worth checking the dimensions against the layout rather than assuming all urinals are interchangeable.

Before You Order — What Else the Installation Needs
This is the ceramic with fixing accessories. The flush valve is a separate item, and whether a spreader is supplied with this code is worth confirming before you order — Jaquar lists “fixing accessories” without specifying
Check the code carefully. URS-WHT-13261H has the spreader hole. A version without the H would not, and that changes what flushing hardware fits
Decide the flushing system before first fix. The supply connection is roughed into the wall at a set position and height, before tiling
Also required: the waste connection and trap, which are separate plumbing items
Confirm the bowl height suits the users. At 535 mm this is a compact bowl — check it against the layout and the intended users before ordering a full run
