Jaquar Concealed Body for Single Lever Diverter is the in-wall valve mechanism that forms the functional core of a concealed single lever shower diverter system. Available in two variants — Normal Flow (ALD-CHR-065M, 29.72 LPM @ 3 bar) and High Flow (ALD-CHR-079N, 48.94 LPM @ 3 bar) — the concealed body is installed inside the wall cavity during rough plumbing stage, before tiling and wall finishing, and is subsequently fitted with a separately purchased exposed parts kit that forms the visible trim on the finished wall. The kit includes the concealed body, button assembly for diverter control, and cartridge sleeve — but not the exposed parts kit, which is selected independently to match the bathroom’s design series.

The concealed body uses a precision ceramic cartridge — 40mm for the Normal Flow variant and 47mm for the High Flow — providing smooth, reliable temperature and flow control with long-term leak resistance. Ceramic cartridges significantly outlast rubber washer valves and maintain consistent operation across thousands of cycles without degradation. The Normal Flow variant suits standard residential single-head shower installations and apartments; the High Flow variant is designed for luxury multi-head shower systems, spa showers, and hotel bathrooms where higher volume throughput is required. Both variants are compatible with the full range of Jaquar single lever diverter exposed parts kits, giving complete design flexibility in finish and aesthetic series selection.
