Ozone Bottom Patch OPF-3E is the E-Series bottom patch for a frameless toughened glass door — the fitting that clamps the bottom of the leading edge and sits onto the floor spring spindle.
This is the hardest-working fitting on a glass door. It carries the entire weight of the panel into the floor spring below, and absorbs the impact every time the door is pushed open. That is why the base is cast aluminium alloy rather than pressed metal.
The E-Series is a distinct fitting family with its own cover proportions and edge profile. Because patch fittings are bought as a matched set and every one of them is fully visible on a frameless glass door, mixing E-Series with standard-series patches on the same leaf shows immediately. If the rest of your fittings are E-Series, this is the one to use.
