Jaquar Aquamax Single Lever Shower Mixer Exposed Kit, 3-Way Diverter, Chrome Finish – KUP-CHR-

Description

Jaquar Aquamax Exposed Part Kit (KUP-CHR-35783NKPM) is the visible half of a concealed shower mixer in the Kubix Prime range — the plate, lever and diverter control that sit on your tiled wall, with a 3-way diverter.

The 3-way diverter is the reason to specify this rather than a plain shower mixer. It lets one control feed three separate outlets — typically an overhead rain shower, a hand shower, and a bath spout or body jets. You turn the water on with the lever and choose where it goes with the diverter, from a single tidy plate rather than a wall covered in separate valves.

The single lever handles temperature and flow together: lift for volume, swing left or right for hotter or colder. It is the action most people already use at a basin, so nobody has to learn the shower.

It is worth being direct about what is in the box. Jaquar designs concealed mixers as two separate purchases: the concealed body, which is the working valve and is built into the wall, and the exposed part kit, which is what you see and touch. This listing is the exposed kit. It fits over concealed body ALD-783N, which is sold separately and must be in the wall before tiling.

That split exists for a good reason. It means the visible trim can be changed or upgraded years later without touching the plumbing, and it lets one concealed body serve several styling ranges. It only becomes a problem when a customer buys one half expecting a whole shower.
