Futura Hand Carved Series Double Bowl, Stainless Steel, 36″ X 18″ X 9″, FS 3618 DB HM

Description

Futura Hand Carved Series Double Bowl Sink (FS 3618 DB) is a large-format, professional-grade kitchen sink measuring 36″ x 18″ (915 x 457mm) overall, with two independent hand-fabricated basins each measuring 16.5″ x 16″ x 9″ (419.5 x 406 x 225mm). Like the single-bowl models in the Hand Carved range, the FS 3618 DB is manually constructed from thick-gauge High Grade SS 304 (18/8) flat sheets cut and welded to shape – not machine-pressed. This fabrication method produces sharp vertical sidewalls, tight-radius corners, and a larger flat base area per basin than a pressed double-bowl sink of equivalent overall dimensions, where the pressing process thins and rounds the metal at corners and walls. The dual-bowl configuration enables a dedicated wash-and-rinse workflow – one basin for soaking heavy cookware while the other remains clear for rinsing fresh produce, food preparation, or handwashing without cross-contamination.

Both basins carry the same 9-inch (225mm) depth – deep enough to fully accommodate large Indian pressure cookers, biryani pots, and deep kadhais under high-flow faucet pressure without water splash-back, and deep enough to keep a full stack of dirty dishes below the counter sightline. The premium brush finish provides a sophisticated matte surface that resists fingerprints and masks minor scratches effectively through heavy daily use – consistent with the brush finish applied across the Hand Carved range. Advanced sound-dampening pads on the underside absorb vibrations from running water, metal utensil contact, and dual-drain drainage flow. The sink is designed primarily for under-mount installation on granite, quartz, or solid surface countertops where a seamless rimless look and easy counter-to-basin debris sweeping are the design priority, but can be top-mounted on any countertop material.
