Asian Paints SmartCare Crack Seal is a ready-to-use crack filling compound reinforced with fibre glass, for sealing cracks on both interior and exterior walls before painting.

Cracks are the single most common reason a paint job fails early. Paint over an unfilled crack and the crack simply reappears through the new film within a season — often wider, because water has been getting in behind it. Filling first is not an optional refinement; it is the difference between a repaint that lasts its warranty and one that doesn’t.

What the fibre-glass reinforcement adds is resistance to the crack reopening. Ordinary filler is rigid: as the wall moves with heat and moisture, the filler cracks along the same line. Fibre reinforcement gives the filled joint something to hold it together through that movement. And because it is ready to use, there is no mixing, no ratios, and no pot life to work against — you open it and apply it, which makes it practical for a homeowner and fast for a contractor.
